i love the type of rain maryland is having today. where the sky just opens and the rain falls hard and determined. then just like that it disappears and the sun comes out. i can not wait for the day to be over because finally after nearly a week of being gone for work related projects, my husband is returning this evening!!
i have been so depressed all week, waiting for him to return. it just feels so empty in my apartment, everything i do feels unrelated, quiet, and just a constant reminder that he is far away and i am here in the same place i was when he left.
we have missed each other so much and it is refreshing really to feel so foolishly in love. our days and nights are so busy. our months pass too quickly and then the year changes with a song and bright lights and we wonder what happen to the spaces between.
today i am absorbed in his arrival.
